HOW TO USE:
- Access the AED: Open the alarmed wall cabinet to retrieve the HeartSine® SAM 350P AED.
- Power On: Turn on the AED; it will begin providing audio and visual prompts.
- Prepare the Patient: Use the prep kit to remove clothing and prepare the patient's chest for electrode placement.
- Attach Electrodes: Follow the visual prompts to correctly place the electrode pads on the patient's chest.
- Analyze Heart Rhythm: The AED will automatically analyze the patient's heart rhythm.
- Deliver Shock (if advised): If the AED advises a shock, ensure no one is touching the patient and press the shock button.
- Follow CPR Prompts: The AED will provide prompts for CPR if needed, guiding you through chest compressions and rescue breaths.
- Continue as Directed: Continue to follow the AED's prompts until emergency services arrive.
