HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your air compressor is set to provide the recommended 16 psi at the gun's inlet. Thoroughly clean the spray gun and cup before first use or after previous use.
- Mix Material: Prepare your paint or coating material according to the manufacturer's specifications, including proper mixing and straining to remove any particulates.
- Fill Cup: Pour the prepared material into the 700ml gravity cup. Securely attach the cup to the spray gun.
- Adjust Controls: Adjust the fluid control knob to regulate the amount of paint flow. Adjust the fan pattern control to achieve your desired spray shape (from a narrow to a wide fan). Adjust the air valve at the gun's base for precise air flow if needed.
- Test Spray: Before applying to your actual workpiece, perform a test spray on a piece of scrap material to ensure the pattern, atomization, and fluid output are correct. Make any necessary fine adjustments.
- Apply Coating: Hold the spray gun perpendicular to the surface at a consistent distance (typically 6-8 inches). Apply paint in even, overlapping passes, moving at a steady speed to avoid runs or dry spots.
- Cleanup: Immediately after use, empty any remaining material from the cup. Disassemble the cup and nozzle components. Clean all parts thoroughly with the appropriate cleaning solution for your paint type (solvent or water-based cleaner). Do not submerge the entire gun body.
