    3M 9" Perfect-It Wool Compound Pad (05719) is 3M's highest-performing wool pad, designed for aggressive scratch removal and heavy compounding applications. This 100% wool pad effectively removes P1200 and finer sand scratches, as well as other paint surface defects. Its cooler operating temperature makes it suitable for use on heat-sensitive areas. Designed for use with rotary polishers and 3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compounds, this pad helps achieve professional-quality finishes.

    HOW TO USE:

    • Attach the Pad: Attach the 3M Perfect-It Wool Compounding Pad to a rotary polisher using the appropriate attachment system (Hookit or Quick Connect).
    • Apply Compound: Apply a small amount of 3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compound to the pad or the work surface.
    • Set Speed: Set the rotary polisher to a low to medium speed.
    • Work the Pad: Using light to moderate pressure, work the pad over the affected area in overlapping passes.
    • Check Your Work: Check your work frequently and adjust pressure and speed as needed.
    • Follow Up: After compounding, follow up with less aggressive polishing pads and compounds to refine the finish.
