HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is securely raised on an appropriate hoist or lift. The area beneath the vehicle should be clear of obstructions.
- Position the Jack: Roll the transmission jack under the vehicle, aligning the adjustable saddle directly beneath the component you intend to service (e.g., transmission, transfer case).
- Adjust the Saddle: Manipulate the saddle adjustments (forward, backward, side tilts) to match the contours of the component, ensuring a snug and secure fit.
- Secure the Component: Use the integrated safety chains and any additional safety straps to firmly secure the component to the jack's saddle.
- Lift the Component: Operate the manual hydraulic pump handle to slowly raise the component to the necessary height.
- Lower the Component: Slowly release the pressure by turning the release valve counter-clockwise. Maintain control over the descent rate to ensure safe removal or positioning of the component.
- Remove the Jack: Once the component is safely removed or installed, lower the jack completely and carefully roll it out from under the vehicle.
