HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Vehicle/Equipment: Ensure the vehicle or equipment is on a firm, level surface. Engage the parking brake and block the wheels that will remain on the ground to prevent accidental movement.
- Position the Jack: Roll the AFF 3130 jack under the vehicle, aligning the saddle directly beneath a suitable lifting point as specified by the vehicle manufacturer's manual (e.g., frame rail, axle). Utilize the swivel casters and the 3-position handle lever to maneuver the long chassis into the correct position.
- Lift the Load: Use the foot-operated pump to slowly raise the jack's saddle until it makes firm contact with the lifting point. Continue pumping the foot pedal to lift the vehicle to the desired height.
- Secure the Load: Once the vehicle is at the desired height, always place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a hydraulic jack.
- Lower the Load (Carefully): With the jack stands in place, slowly rotate the handle-mounted control lever to release the hydraulic pressure, allowing the jack to gently lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
- Remove the Jack: Once the vehicle is resting securely on the jack stands, fully lower the jack and roll it out from under the vehicle. Store the jack in a safe, dry place.
