HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Work Area: Ensure the ground is firm, level, and capable of supporting the weight of the jack and the load. Chock any wheels if working on a vehicle.
- Position the Jack: Place the bottle jack directly under the lifting point of the object, ensuring the saddle is centered and securely in contact with a solid, structural part.
- Assemble the Handle: Insert the two pieces of the handle together and then into the pump sleeve.
- Pump to Lift: Close the release valve firmly by turning it clockwise. Pump the handle up and down steadily to raise the saddle and lift the load to the desired height.
- Secure the Load: Once the load is lifted, immediately place appropriate jack stands or other suitable support devices under the object before working underneath it. Never rely solely on the jack to hold the load.
- Lower the Load: To lower the load, ensure the area is clear. Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise to allow the hydraulic fluid to release, gently lowering the load. Once fully lowered, remove the jack.
- Store the Jack: After use, clean the jack and store it in a dry, safe place with the ram fully retracted to protect the seals.
