HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure the press is on a stable, level surface and connected to an air supply (90-150 PSI) if using the air/hydraulic pump. Gather the necessary pressing plates or tooling for your specific task.
- Adjusting the Press Bed: Use the integrated winch to raise or lower the press bed to one of the 7 available adjustment levels. Position the bed so that your workpiece will be at an optimal height for pressing and stability.
- Positioning the Workpiece: Place your workpiece, along with any necessary pressing plates or fixtures, securely on the press bed, ensuring it is centered directly under the ram.
- Lowering the Ram: Use the two-speed hand pump to quickly bring the ram down close to the workpiece. This manual operation allows for faster travel to the load.
- Applying Pressure: Once the ram is near the workpiece, switch to the air/hydraulic pump for precise and effortless application of pressure. Monitor the frame-mounted hydraulic pressure gauge to apply the desired force.
- Releasing Pressure: After the task is complete, release the pressure slowly and carefully. Allow the ram to retract fully before removing the workpiece.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the ram is fully retracted and the press is stored in a clean, dry area.
