HOW TO USE:
- Identify Mounting Location: Select a flat, stable surface where heat is required, ensuring adequate clearance around the heater and proper air circulation if heating air.
- Mount the Heater: Secure the strip heater to the chosen surface using appropriate 10-32 screws through the slotted mounting holes. Ensure the heater is firmly attached to prevent movement during operation.
- Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect the 120V power supply to the two offset bolt-type terminals on the heater. Ensure all electrical connections are made according to local electrical codes and safety guidelines. If voltage to ground exceeds 300V, secondary insulators must be used.
- Implement Temperature Control (Optional): For precise temperature regulation, integrate a separate control device such as a Caloritech CPA or CPB control panel, a mechanical thermostat, or a bi-metal thermostat installed on the heater surface. The heater does not include an adjustable thermostat.
- Power On: Once all connections are secure and safety checks are complete, apply power to the heater. Monitor initial operation to confirm proper function.
