HOW TO USE:
- Open the Alarmed Wall Cabinet: The alarm will sound when the cabinet is opened.
- Remove the LIFEPAK® CR2 AED: Take the AED from the cabinet to begin the process.
- Power On the AED: The device will automatically begin providing voice prompts.
- Prepare the Patient: Remove clothing from the patient’s chest and use the prep tools provided in the kit to prepare the patient's body.
- Apply Electrodes: Peel the QUIK-STEP™ electrodes from their base and apply them to the patient’s chest as indicated by the diagrams on the electrode pads.
- Analyze Heart Rhythm: The AED will analyze the patient’s heart rhythm and deliver a shock automatically if needed.
- Perform CPR (if advised): If prompted, follow the metronome and CPR coaching instructions provided by the AED.
- Continue Instructions: Follow the AED’s instructions until emergency medical services arrive.
