The Cardiact Lifepak CR2 Automatic WIFI English-Spanish Bag (99512-001267) is a fully-automatic automated external defibrillator (AED) designed to provide life-saving defibrillation and CPR guidance during sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). It is designed to be easy to use for both trained and untrained individuals. The device offers bilingual voice prompts (English and Spanish), WiFi connectivity for remote monitoring, and cprINSIGHT™ analysis technology, which allows CPR compressions during heart rhythm analysis. HOW TO USE:
- Open: Open the carrying bag and remove the LIFEPAK CR2 AED.
- Power On: Power on the device.
- Follow Prompts: Follow the visual and audio prompts provided by the AED.
- Apply Electrodes: Peel the QUIK-STEP™ electrodes from their base and apply them to the patient’s bare chest as indicated by the diagrams on the electrodes.
- Shock Delivery: If the AED advises a shock, ensure no one is touching the patient and allow the device to deliver the shock.
- CPR Guidance: If the AED advises CPR, follow the cprCOACH guidance and perform chest compressions and rescue breaths as directed.
- Continue as Directed: Continue to follow the AED’s instructions until emergency services arrive.
