Dynabrade 59179 6" Dia. Dynorbital-Spirit Random Orbital Sander, Non-Vacuum, 3/16" Orbit is a powerful and versatile air sander, ideal for general sanding tasks. The 3/16" orbit delivers smooth, consistent finishes, and with a .25 HP motor operating at 12,000 RPM, it handles a variety of materials with ease. This sander also includes a lifetime warranty for added reliability.
Features:
- Includes a low-profile, premium urethane weight-mated sanding pad. Optional vacuum conversion kits available to convert from non-vacuum to self-generated or central vacuum tool. The grey lever identifies the 3/16" (5 mm) orbit, used for general sanding.
- Drop-In Motor available (sold separately) to reduce costly downtime associated with routine maintenance. Powered by a true 12,000 RPM air motor, the floating rotor utilizes five blades, producing more usable power (.25 hp/186 W). High-strength composite rotor ensures longer blade life with better lubricating qualities, using less air (14 SCFM/396 LPM) more efficiently to maintain maximum power.
- Comfort Platform provides additional hand and wrist support for increased comfort during use and protection against cold air exhaust. The Comfort Platform is removable and can be ordered separately (59330) to install on existing tools.
- The throttle lever recesses into the housing to eliminate pressure points on the palm. The Dynorbital-Spirit lever is made from composite material to insulate against cold air and is color-coded to designate tool orbit. Easy maintenance and vacuum conversion options. Muffler elements are easily replaced, and the muffling system reduces exhaust sound levels.
- Speed Control allows easy thumb-control regulation of tool speed. The lightweight air-motor assembly is perfect for vertical and overhead sanding. Precision one-piece motor shaft and counterbalance improve efficiency. High-quality Double Row Pad Bearing, protected by a unique V-Seal, reduces vibration and extends bearing life. The perfectly-balanced, weight-mated sanding pad with a one-piece hub design ensures smoother performance with minimal vibration.
