You will also need to source a compatible fuel system (fuel pump, lines, filter, regulator) and ignition system components separately.
- Intake Manifold Installation: Install the provided black aluminum intake manifold onto your engine, ensuring proper gasket placement and torque specifications.
- Throttle Body Installation: Mount the gold cast aluminum throttle body onto the newly installed intake manifold using the 4150 flange.
- Fuel Rail and Injector Installation: Install the multi-port fuel rails and injectors onto the intake manifold, connecting the fuel lines as per the manufacturer's instructions.
- Sensor Installation: Install the included oxygen sensor into the exhaust system, the MAP sensor, IAT sensor, TPS sensor, and IAC motor onto the designated locations on the throttle body or intake manifold.
- ECM and Wiring Harness Connection: Mount the ECM in a suitable location within the vehicle and connect the wiring harness to the ECM and all the sensors and actuators as specified in the FiTech installation manual. This includes connections to the fuel pump, ignition system, and power sources.
