HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Intake Manifold: Ensure the intake manifold's mounting surface is clean and free of debris.
- Install the Mounting Studs: Thread the 5/16 in.-18 base of the studs into the intake manifold's carburetor mounting holes.
- Place the Throttle Body: Position the FiTech throttle body over the installed studs, aligning the mounting holes.
- Secure with Washers and Nuts: Place a washer over each stud, followed by a stainless steel hex nut. Tighten the nuts evenly to secure the throttle body.
- Assemble the Air Cleaner: If necessary, install the air cleaner stud and optional extension, then attach the air cleaner assembly using the provided wing nut.
- Connect Throttle Linkage: Use the throttle connection eyelet stud to connect the throttle linkage to the throttle body, ensuring smooth operation.
- Verify Tightness: Once everything is placed, verify and if needed, re-tighten all hardware.
- Use Thread Lock: It is recommended that thread-lock be used on some hardware components during installation.
