HOW TO USE:

1. Preparation: Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and freshly sanded. It must be free of all contaminants such as grease, oil, dirt, loose paint, and rust for optimal bonding.
2. Mixing: In a separate, clean container (not the original product containers), carefully measure out 7 parts of Part A to 1 part of Part B by weight. Mix the two components thoroughly and vigorously for several minutes until a uniform color and consistency are achieved. Proper mixing is critical for the product to cure correctly and achieve its stated properties.
3. Application: Immediately after mixing, pour the entire mixed material onto your prepared working surface. Do not leave the mixed material in the mixing container, as this can significantly reduce working time due to exothermic reaction.
4. Spreading: Apply the Goop Coat-It using a toothed trowel, squeegee, short bristle throw-away brush, or a foam roller. Spread evenly to achieve the desired thickness.
5. Non-Skid (Optional): If a non-skid surface is desired, spread medium to fine silica sand over the wet Coat-It immediately after application.
6. Curing: Allow the product to cure completely. At 70°F (21°C), the cure time is approximately 10-12 hours. Higher temperatures will reduce cure time, while thicker coats may cure faster.
7. Finishing (Optional): For maximum ultraviolet protection, once Coat-It is thoroughly cured, you can lightly sand the surface and apply a good quality marine paint.
8. Clean-up: Clean tools immediately after use with acetone or lacquer thinner.
