HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the Hole: Ensure the pipe is properly prepared and the hole is the correct size for a 1/8" tap. The end of the pipe should be clean and deburred.
2. Apply Cutting Fluid: Apply a generous amount of cutting oil to both the tap and the inside of the pipe. This will reduce friction, extend the life of the tap, and help produce a cleaner thread.
3. Position the Tap: Align the tap with the hole, making sure it is perfectly straight. Begin turning the tap clockwise slowly and with steady pressure.
4. Cut the Thread: After a few turns, back the tap out a half-turn to break the chips and clear the flutes. Continue this process—two steps forward, one step back—to cut the thread all the way through the pipe.
5. Remove and Clean: Once the threading is complete, carefully remove the tap. Clean the newly cut threads and the tap to remove any remaining metal chips and cutting oil.
