    HOW TO USE:

    • Prepare the Workpiece: Securely clamp the rod or bolt in a vice; bevel the end to start the die squarely.
    • Mount the Die: Insert the hexagon die into a die stock, wrench, or socket and secure firmly.
    • Start the Thread: Place the die squarely on the workpiece end, apply downward pressure, and turn clockwise to begin threading.
    • Cut the Thread: Continue turning clockwise with steady pressure; reverse the die a quarter turn after every full turn or two to break chips.
    • Finish the Thread: Repeat forward and backward turning until the desired thread length is reached. Remove the die by turning counter-clockwise and clean threads with a brush.
