HOW TO USE:

1. Select the Tap and Drill Bit: Choose the correct size tap for the desired thread and the corresponding drill bit for the tap size. The drill bit should be slightly smaller than the tap to allow for the creation of threads.
2. Drill the Hole: Use the selected drill bit to create a hole in the material where the new thread will be cut. Ensure the hole is straight and deep enough for the required thread length.
3. Align the Tap: Insert the correct tap into the tap wrench. Place the tip of the tap into the drilled hole, ensuring it is perfectly straight and aligned with the hole's axis.
4. Cut the Threads: Begin turning the tap wrench clockwise with steady, even pressure. After every full or half turn, turn the tap wrench a quarter turn counter-clockwise to break the chips and clear the cutting area.
5. Finish the Threading: Continue the turning and reversing motion until the tap has created threads to the desired depth. Remove the tap carefully by turning it counter-clockwise.
6. Create External Threads: For external threads, place the correct die into the die stock. Secure the workpiece in a vice, ensuring it is straight. Place the die over the end of the workpiece and turn it clockwise, using the same quarter-turn back-and-forth motion to clear chips.
