HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your air compressor is set to deliver the recommended air pressure (16 PSI at the gun inlet with trigger pulled). Connect a suitable air hose (minimum 8mm inner diameter is recommended for longer hoses) to the gun's air inlet.
- Material Loading: Mix your paint or coating material according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pour the prepared material into the 600mL plastic gravity cup. Securely attach the cup to the spray gun.
- Adjustments:
- Fluid Knob: Turn the fluid adjustment knob to control the amount of material flowing through the nozzle.
- Pattern Adjustment: Adjust the pattern control knob to modify the width of the spray fan.
- Air Adjustment: Use the air adjustment valve at the gun's base to fine-tune the air pressure directly at the gun for optimal atomization.
- Testing: Before spraying your final surface, test the spray pattern and material flow on a test panel or scrap material to ensure desired results. Adjust settings as needed.
- Spraying: Hold the gun at a consistent distance from the surface, typically 6-8 inches, and move it smoothly across the area. Overlap each pass by approximately 50% to achieve an even coat.
- Cleanup: After use, turn off the air supply and release any remaining pressure. Remove the cup and empty any remaining material. Flush the gun thoroughly with an appropriate cleaning solvent until clean. Disassemble the air cap and fluid nozzle as needed for detailed cleaning.
