HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your work area is well-ventilated and free from dust. Prepare your coating material according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring it is properly mixed and strained to prevent clogging.
- Attach Cup and Material: Securely attach the PCG10EM 1000mL aluminum cup to the top of the spray gun. Pour your prepared coating material into the cup.
- Connect Air Supply: Connect an air hose from your compressor to the air inlet at the base of the spray gun. Ensure the air pressure regulator on your compressor or at the gun is set to the recommended atomizing air pressure of 1.1 bar (16 PSI).
- Adjust Spray Pattern and Fluid Output: Test the spray pattern on a piece of scrap material. Adjust the fluid knob to control the material flow and the air cap to fine-tune the spray pattern width (which is 320mm at full opening). The "tulip inspired" pattern offers versatility.
- Spray Application: Hold the spray gun perpendicular to the surface you are painting, maintaining a consistent spray distance of 100-200mm (3.9-7.9 inches). Move the gun in smooth, overlapping passes to ensure even coverage.
- Cleanup: After each use, immediately clean the spray gun. Empty any remaining material from the cup, then rinse the cup and flush the gun with appropriate cleaning solvent until all material residue is removed. Disassemble the air cap and nozzle for thorough cleaning if necessary.
