HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the surface to be sprayed is clean, dry, and properly prepped according to the primer or filler manufacturer's instructions. Mask off any areas not intended for spraying.
- Mix Material: Prepare your primer, sealer, or filler according to the product manufacturer's specifications. Ensure it is thoroughly mixed and strained to remove any impurities.
- Fill the Cup: Pour the prepared material into the 1000mL aluminum cup. Secure the cup to the spray gun.
- Connect Air Supply: Attach an air hose from your compressor to the 1/4" air inlet on the spray gun. Ensure your air compressor can consistently supply at least 8.9 CFM at 20 PSI.
- Adjust Settings: Set your air compressor regulator to provide 20 PSI at the gun. Adjust the fluid and fan pattern controls on the gun as needed for your specific material and desired application.
- Test Spray: Before applying to your main project, perform a test spray on a piece of scrap material to verify the pattern, atomization, and material flow.
- Apply Material: Hold the gun at a consistent distance from the surface, typically 6-8 inches, and apply material in even, overlapping passes. Release the trigger at the end of each pass.
- Clean After Use: Immediately after use, thoroughly clean the spray gun by flushing it with an appropriate cleaning solvent. Disassemble the air cap, fluid nozzle, and needle for detailed cleaning to prevent material from drying inside.
