HOW TO USE:
- Safety First: Wear proper eye protection, gloves, and respirator when operating the JAT-483. Ensure the air pressure is set to 90 PSI and the air hose is securely connected.
- Install Cutting Wheel: Select a compatible 4" cutting wheel for your desired application. Secure the wheel using the spindle lock system and tighten according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Adjust Guard and Speed: Choose one of the 11 adjustable swivel guard positions for optimal cutting control. Adjust the variable-speed throttle for the appropriate cutting speed based on the material.
- Cutting: Maintain a firm grip on the tool and position the cutting wheel near the intended cut line. Engage the trigger and apply steady pressure to guide the cut.
- Maintenance: Regularly lubricate the tool according to the Jet user manual. Inspect the cutting wheel for wear and tear and replace it when necessary.
