It boasts a rigid construction with Meehanite castings and hand-scraped ways for exceptional accuracy and smooth operation. The spindle assembly utilizes premium components like class 7210 bearings and a fully hardened chromium molybdenum spindle to achieve industry-leading taper runout of 0.00012".

    For enhanced control and precision, the ETM-949 features a 2-axis ACU-RITE DRO readout system and an X-axis JET powerfeed. The variable speed control allows for optimal machining parameters for various materials. Durability is ensured with a seamless, one-piece steel quill, heat-treated and polished lead screws, and an advanced double nut design that minimizes table backlash.

    Safety is a priority with the ETM-949. It meets CSA/CUS safety certifications and comes equipped with a spindle safety guard, halogen machine lamp, dual locks on all surfaces, and an electronic spindle brake. Additionally, an automatic lubrication system ensures proper lubrication every 30 minutes for extended machine life.
