HOW TO USE:
- Select the Correct Tip: Choose the appropriate tip size and angle (.090", .108", or .120" in 15-degree or 70-degree bends) based on the retaining ring you are working with.
- Install Tips: Insert the chosen tips into the plier jaws and secure them firmly using the included hex key.
- Switch for Internal/External Rings: Locate the quick-switch lever on the pliers. Flip the switch to the desired position for either internal (spreading) or external (compressing) retaining rings.
- Engage the Ring: Position the tips into the holes or grooves of the retaining ring.
- Activate Ratchet Lock: Squeeze the handles to open or close the ring. The automatic ratchet lock will engage, holding the ring in its expanded or compressed state, allowing you to manipulate the ring into or out of its groove.
- Release Ratchet Lock: To release the lock, fully open or close the handles until the ratchet disengages.
