HOW TO USE:

1. Grip the Handle: Hold the handle of the Kershaw Decimus firmly with the blade facing away from you and the flipper resting near your index finger.
2. Engage the Flipper: Place your index finger on the flipper tab, which protrudes from the spine of the knife when closed.
3. Initiate Opening: Apply a swift, firm pressure downwards or outwards on the flipper. The SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism will engage, propelling the blade out of the handle.
4. Lock Engagement: Continue the motion until the blade fully extends and the frame lock securely engages, audibly clicking into place. Visually confirm the lock bar is fully seated against the blade's tang.
5. Perform Task: Use the knife for your intended cutting or piercing task.
6. Close the Blade: To close, firmly press the frame lock bar to the side, disengaging it from the blade. Carefully guide the blade back into the handle using your other hand, keeping fingers clear of the blade path.
