HOW TO USE:
- Grip the Knife: Hold the handle of the Kershaw Clash firmly in your dominant hand, ensuring your fingers are positioned on the textured glass-filled nylon for a secure grip.
- Locate the Flipper: Identify the small protrusion (flipper) located on the back of the blade, near the pivot.
- Deploy the Blade: Apply a quick, firm push downward on the flipper with your index finger. The SpeedSafe® assisted opening mechanism will engage, rapidly deploying the blade into the open and locked position.
- Confirm Lock-Up: Visually confirm that the liner lock has fully engaged, securely holding the blade open before any cutting action.
- Perform Cutting Task: Use the plain edge for slicing and the serrated section for cutting through fibrous or tough materials.
- Close the Blade: Firmly push the liner lock bar to the side to disengage it from the blade tang.
- Fold the Blade: Carefully fold the blade back into the handle, ensuring your fingers are clear of the blade path.
