HOW TO USE:
- Opening the Blade (Assisted Opening): Locate the small protrusion on the back of the blade near the pivot, known as the flipper. Use your index finger to apply a quick, firm push downward on the flipper. The SpeedSafe® assisted opening mechanism will engage, swiftly deploying the blade into its open position.
- Engaging the Liner Lock: As the blade opens, the liner lock (a metal bar inside the handle) will automatically snap into place behind the blade's tang, securing it firmly open for safe use.
- Using the Knife: Once the blade is open and locked, you can use the knife for various cutting tasks, such as opening boxes, cutting cord, or other everyday cutting needs.
- Disengaging the Liner Lock and Closing the Blade: To close the knife, firmly grip the handle. Using your thumb, push the liner lock (the metal bar inside the handle) sideways to move it out of the path of the blade.
- Folding the Blade: While holding the liner lock out of the way, gently fold the blade back into the handle with your other hand until it is fully closed. Ensure your fingers are clear of the blade's path.
- Engaging the Tip-Lock Slider (Optional Safety): After the blade is fully closed, locate the Tip-Lock slider on the handle. Slide it into position to prevent the blade from accidentally opening while stored or carried in your pocket. To open the knife again, slide the Tip-Lock back to its disengaged position.
