HOW TO USE:
- Opening the Blade: To open the knife, locate the flipper extension on the spine of the closed blade. Apply light pressure to the flipper in an outward and downward motion. Alternatively, use either of the ambidextrous thumb studs by pushing outward and upward. The SpeedSafe® assisted opening will activate, smoothly deploying the blade until it locks open.
- Using the Knife: Once the blade is open and the frame lock is engaged, the knife is ready for use. Apply appropriate pressure for your cutting task, being mindful of the blade's sharpness and the partial serrations. Always cut away from your body.
- Closing the Blade: To close the knife, firmly grasp the handle. With your thumb, push the frame lock bar (the part of the handle that moves to block the blade) to the side, away from the blade's tang. This will disengage the lock. Carefully fold the blade back into the handle well, ensuring your fingers are clear of the blade path.
- Securing for Carry: Before placing the knife back into your pocket or gear, slide the Tip-Lock slider over the tip of the blade on the handle. This safety feature locks the blade in the closed position, preventing accidental opening during carry.
