    HOW TO USE:

    • Removing from Packaging: Carefully remove the knife from its packaging.
    • Attaching/Adjusting Pocket Clip (Optional): The pocket clip comes pre-attached but is reversible. If you prefer a different carry position (tip-up or tip-down, left or right side), use a small Torx wrench to unscrew the clip, re-position it, and screw it back into the desired pre-drilled holes on the handle.
    • Opening the Blade (Assisted Opening):
      • Using the Flipper: Hold the knife firmly in one hand. Place your index finger on the flipper tab protruding from the back of the handle. Apply a swift, firm push down on the flipper. The blade will quickly spring open and lock into place.
      • Using the Thumb Studs: Alternatively, you can place your thumb on one of the ambidextrous thumb studs located on the blade. Apply outward pressure with your thumb to initiate the blade's movement, and the SpeedSafe mechanism will take over to complete the opening.
    • Confirming Blade Lock: After opening, always visually and audibly confirm that the liner lock has engaged. You should see the metal liner securely positioned behind the base of the blade, preventing it from folding inadvertently.
    • Using for Cutting Tasks: With the blade securely locked, use the knife for your intended cutting tasks. Always cut away from your body and maintain a firm grip.
    • Closing the Blade:
      • Disengaging the Lock: Locate the liner lock, which is a metal strip inside the handle (usually visible where the blade meets the handle). Use your thumb to push this liner lock towards the side of the handle, away from the base of the blade.
      • Folding the Blade: While holding the liner lock disengaged, use your other hand to gently push the blade back into the closed position until it rests fully within the handle. Keep your fingers clear of the blade path.
    • Engaging the Tip-Lock: For added safety, slide the small Tip-Lock mechanism (often a small black slider near the blade's tip when closed) over the blade's tip to secure it from accidental deployment while carried or stored.
