HOW TO USE:
- Grip the Handle: Hold the knife firmly with the handle in your hand, ensuring your fingers are clear of the blade path. The Trac-Tec inserts will provide a secure grip.
- Locate the Thumb Stud: Identify the ambidextrous thumb stud on the spine of the blade near the pivot.
- Initiate Opening: With a slight push on the thumb stud, the SpeedSafe® assisted opening mechanism will engage, swiftly deploying the blade into the open position.
- Confirm Lock: Listen for an audible "click" and visually confirm that the inset liner lock has fully engaged, securing the blade open. Before use, gently test the blade to ensure it is locked in place.
- Perform Task: Use the plain edge, drop point blade for your intended cutting or piercing task.
- Close the Blade: To close, firmly press the liner lock bar (the metal tab inside the handle) to the side, disengaging it from the blade's tang.
- Fold Blade: Carefully fold the blade back into the handle well, keeping your fingers clear of the closing path.
- Secure for Carry: Once fully closed, the blade will be securely nested within the handle. Use the reversible pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry on the right side.
