HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Safely lift and support the vehicle. Remove the wheel and the brake caliper as required by your vehicle's service manual.
- Position the Press: Place the Lang Tools 279 between the brake pads or directly against the caliper pistons (if pads are removed). Ensure the pressing plates are flat against the pistons.
- Retract Pistons: Rotate the handle of the press clockwise to extend the plates, slowly and evenly pushing the brake pistons back into the caliper bore. Watch carefully to ensure the pistons retract straight.
- Monitor Piston Movement: Continuously observe the pistons as they retract to prevent any binding or misalignment.
- Release and Remove: Once the pistons are fully retracted, use the extended reversing lever to release the pressure and remove the tool from the caliper.
