HOW TO USE:
- Identify Fan Clutch Type: Determine the size of the fan clutch nut and the type of pulley design to select the appropriate wrench and pin configuration.
- Position Pulley Holder: Place the #3900 Universal Pulley Holder onto the fan clutch pulley. Insert the correct 5x8mm pins into the holder and engage them with the corresponding holes or slots on the pulley to prevent it from rotating.
- Secure Holder: Ensure the pulley holder is firmly in place and provides a stable counter-force against the fan clutch nut.
- Attach Fan Clutch Wrench: Select either the #3136-36 (36mm) or #3422 (40mm) fan clutch wrench based on the nut size. Position the wrench securely over the fan clutch nut.
- Loosen/Tighten Nut: While holding the pulley stationary with the universal holder, use a 1/2" square drive tool (such as a ratchet or breaker bar) with the fan clutch wrench to loosen or tighten the fan clutch nut.
- Remove Tools: Once the fan clutch is serviced, carefully remove the fan clutch wrench and the universal pulley holder from the assembly.
