HOW TO USE:
- Select Proper Tips: Ensure the correct 0.120" tips (straight, 45°, or 90°) are installed based on the access angle required for your specific retaining ring.
- Position Pliers: Place the tips into the holes or "eyes" of the external retaining ring.
- Compress and Lock: Squeeze the handles of the pliers together. The spring ratchet mechanism will engage, gradually compressing the retaining ring and holding it open. Listen for the clicking sound to ensure the lock is engaged.
- Remove/Install Ring: Once the ring is adequately compressed and locked open, carefully remove it from its groove or, if installing, guide it into the desired groove.
