HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the engine is at normal operating temperature. For safety, park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Select Test Point: Choose one of the three available test points:
   • Oxygen Sensor Port: If using an O2 sensor port, carefully remove the oxygen sensor and select the appropriate 12mm or 18mm adapter from the kit. Thread the adapter into the O2 sensor bung.
   • Exhaust Pipe: For testing directly on an exhaust pipe, use the provided adapter and clamp it securely to the exhaust pipe, ensuring a tight seal.
   • Air Injection System: If applicable, connect the kit to a suitable access point in the vehicle's air injection system.
3. Connect Gauge Assembly: Attach the 6-foot hose to the selected test point adapter, ensuring a secure connection. Connect the other end of the hose to the 2-1/4 inch pressure gauge.
4. Perform Idle Test: Start the vehicle's engine and let it idle. Observe the gauge reading on the "Idle" colored band. Note the pressure in PSI or Bar.
5. Perform 2500 RPM Test: While observing the gauge from the driver's seat, carefully increase the engine RPM to 2500 RPM and hold it steady. Observe the gauge reading on the "2500 RPM" colored band. Note the pressure in PSI or Bar.
6. Interpret Readings: Compare your recorded readings to the vehicle's service manual specifications or general guidelines for acceptable exhaust back pressure. Abnormally high readings, especially at 2500 RPM, indicate a restriction in the exhaust system.
7. Disconnect and Store: Once testing is complete, carefully disconnect the kit components, replace any removed sensors, and store all parts in the provided blow-mold case.
