SPECIFICATIONS:
- Kit Includes:
- (2) single-use, disposable syringes, prefilled with LeakFinder® universal A/C dye
- LF80CS: SOLO-SHOT™ R-134a hose/coupler and purge fitting*
HOW TO USE:
- Attach the Coupler: Connect the R-134a hose/coupler to the A/C system's low-side service port. For R-1234yf systems, use the required LF60 adapter (sold separately).
- Inject the Dye: Attach one of the pre-filled, single-use syringes to the hose and inject the entire contents into the A/C system. The dye will mix with the refrigerant and oil.
- Run the System: Allow the vehicle's A/C system to run for a sufficient amount of time to circulate the dye.
- Inspect for Leaks: Use a UV leak detection lamp (sold separately) to scan the A/C system's components, hoses, and connections. The dye will fluoresce brightly at the point of any leak.
- Service a Second Vehicle: The second syringe can be used to service an additional vehicle.
