HOW TO USE:
- Identify the Pin Type: Ensure you are working with a roll pin or a similar hollow tension pin that can be driven out.
- Initial Loosening (if needed): If the pin is very tight, you may use a solid punch first to slightly loosen it before using the pilot punch.
- Select the Correct Punch Size: Choose the pilot punch with a tip diameter that closely matches the inside diameter of the roll pin.
- Position the Punch: Insert the rounded tip of the pilot punch into the pin opening, making sure it is centered and perpendicular.
- Apply Gentle Strikes: Using a hammer, apply controlled strikes to drive the pin straight through without bending or damage.
- Drive the Pin Out: Continue striking until the pin is fully removed from the hole.
- Clean Up: Remove debris from the workpiece and clean the punch after use.
- Store Properly: Place the cleaned punches back into the anti-slip pouch for safe storage.
