    SPECIFICATIONS:

    • Thread Size Range: 1-1/4" to 5" O.D.
    • Standard Die Set (No. 216884): Includes 6 dies for threads per inch: 4, 5, 6, 7, 7-1/2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11-1/2, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 24.
    • Optional Metric Die Set (No. 202817): Available separately, includes 3 dies for metric pitches: 1.0mm, 1.25mm, 1.5mm, 1.75mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, and 4.0mm.

    HOW TO USE:

    1. Identify the Damaged Thread: Determine the size and pitch of the damaged thread.
    2. Select the Appropriate Die: Choose the correct die based on the thread size and pitch.
    3. Insert the Die: Securely insert the selected die into the thread chaser.
    4. Align the Tool: Position the tool over the damaged thread, ensuring proper alignment.
    5. Apply Pressure: Gently apply pressure to the tool and rotate it clockwise to engage the cutting edges.
    6. Continue Rotation: Maintain steady pressure and rotation until the damaged material is removed and the thread is restored.
    7. Clean the Thread: Remove any metal shavings or debris from the repaired thread.
