PCE Instruments Coating Thickness Gauge (PCE-CT 5000H) is a high-precision device designed for non-destructive measurement of coating and dry film thickness (DFT) on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. Ideal for automotive paint inspection, material testing, and manufacturing quality control, this gauge automatically detects the substrate type and applies the appropriate measurement method.
The device features alarm limits that notify users when coatings exceed preset thickness parameters. It also includes a statistical function to track measurement data, storing up to 2000 readings.
