    1. Ensure your service vehicle and the disabled vehicle are safely positioned with engines off. Engage parking brakes on both vehicles.
    2. Locate the 4-foot harness of your Phoenix USA JM254 kit on your service vehicle. This harness should be permanently connected to your service vehicle's battery.
    3. Connect the plug-in end of the PJM25-25 replacement cable securely into the connector on the 4-foot harness. Ensure a tight and proper fit.
    4. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the disabled vehicle's battery. Clean any corrosion if present.
    5. Attach the red clamp of the PJM25-25 cable to the positive (+) terminal of the disabled vehicle's battery.
    6. Attach the black clamp of the PJM25-25 cable to a solid, unpainted metal part of the disabled vehicle's chassis or engine block. Do not connect the black clamp directly to the negative (-) battery terminal to avoid sparks near the battery.
    7. Start the disabled vehicle. If the vehicle starts, allow it to run for a few minutes.
    8. Turn off the disabled vehicle's engine.
    9. Disconnect the black clamp from the vehicle's chassis or engine block.
    10. Disconnect the red clamp from the positive (+) battery terminal.
