HOW TO USE:

- Mounting: Locate a suitable position on your dashboard or instrument panel for the tachometer. If there isn't an existing 2.10" (54mm) hole, carefully drill one. Insert the tachometer into the hole, ensuring a snug and secure fit, typically using a mounting bracket or clamp included with the gauge.
- Wiring - Signal Connection: Identify the appropriate signal wire from your diesel engine. This will be either the 'R' or 'W' terminal on the alternator, the crank sensor signal wire, or the wire from a magnetic pulse sensor, depending on your engine type. Connect this signal wire to the designated input terminal on the back of the tachometer. Refer to the tachometer's wiring diagram for the correct terminal.
- Wiring - Power and Ground: Connect the power wire from the tachometer to a 12V power source in your vehicle that is active when the ignition is on. Connect the ground wire from the tachometer to a reliable ground point on the vehicle's chassis.
- Testing: Once all connections are made, start your diesel engine. Observe the tachometer to ensure it is receiving a signal and displaying the engine's RPM accurately as the engine speed changes.
- Final Adjustments: Secure any loose wiring and ensure the tachometer is firmly mounted.
