HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure you have an AEM inline wideband controller and its associated wideband oxygen sensor installed in your vehicle's exhaust system according to the controller's instructions.
- Mounting the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.062" (52mm) diameter opening in your dashboard or gauge pod. Insert the Speedhut Air/Fuel Wide Band Gauge into this opening. Secure it from the rear using the provided spin-lock ring.
- Wiring the Gauge: Connect the 3 ft power & lighting harness to the gauge.
- Connect the power wire (typically red) to a switched 12V power source in your vehicle.
- Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a suitable ground point on your vehicle's chassis.
- Connect the lighting wire (often orange or similar) to your vehicle's headlight or instrument panel lighting circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your other lights.
- Connecting to the AEM Controller: Connect the signal output wire from your AEM inline wideband controller to the input wire on the Speedhut gauge. This wire will carry the 0.5V to 4.5V signal corresponding to the air/fuel ratio. Refer to the wiring diagrams for both the Speedhut gauge and your AEM controller for the correct wire connections.
- Testing: Once all connections are secure, start your vehicle. The gauge should now display the real-time air/fuel ratio as reported by the AEM wideband controller.
