HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter opening in your vehicle's dashboard or instrument panel. Secure the Speedhut Trans Temp Gauge in this opening.
- Install the Temperature Sender: Identify a suitable location on your transmission to install the provided 2-wire temperature sender. Ensure the sender is properly threaded and making good contact with the transmission fluid.
- Connect the Wiring Harnesses:
- Connect one end of the 2-wire temperature gauge wiring harness to the terminals on the temperature sender. Connect the other end to the corresponding terminals on the back of the Speedhut Trans Temp Gauge.
- Connect the 3 ft power and lighting harness to the power and ground terminals on the back of the gauge, as well as to a suitable 12V power source and ground in your vehicle. This harness also powers the LED illumination.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and allow the transmission to warm up. Observe the gauge to ensure it is displaying the transmission fluid temperature accurately.
