HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter opening in your dashboard or instrument panel. Securely mount the Speedhut fuel level gauge in this opening.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft power and lighting harness to a suitable 12V power source and ground in your vehicle. This harness will also power the gauge's LED illumination.
- Connect the Fuel Level Sensor Harness: Connect the 2-wire cable to the output terminals of your fuel level sensor in the fuel tank. Ensure proper polarity based on your sensor's wiring diagram.
- Program the Gauge (if necessary): Depending on your specific fuel level sensor's resistance range, you may need to program the gauge according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure accurate readings. Refer to the Speedhut documentation for programming steps.
- Test the Gauge: Once all connections are made, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The gauge should now display the current fuel level. Verify the accuracy of the reading as your fuel level changes.
