HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Turn off the vehicle and disconnect the battery. Select a mounting location with a 3.33-inch (85mm) diameter opening.
- Mounting the Gauge: Insert the tachometer into the hole and secure it with mounting hardware.
- Wiring Connections (Power & Lighting): Connect the 3 ft harness to a 12V ignition-switched source, ground, and optionally the lighting circuit.
- Wiring Connections (Tachometer Signal): Connect the 8 ft Hertz harness to the RPM signal output wire on your diesel engine’s control unit.
- Shift Light Adjustment: If available, set the RPM threshold for the shift light using the dial or button on the gauge.
- Testing: Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and confirm accurate RPM readings and shift light function.
- Final Adjustments: Ensure secure mounting and neatly route all wiring to prevent interference or damage.
