HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Secure the 3-3/8" gauge in your desired location using the included mounting ring. Ensure the 3.375" (86mm) cutout is the correct size.
- Connect Power and Lighting: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the appropriate power and ground sources in your vehicle, as well as to the gauge's lighting terminals.
- Connect Voltage Input: Use the 2-wire cable from the Wiring Harness to connect to a reliable voltage source in your vehicle. Typically, this will be a switched 12V source.
- Connect Fuel Level Sender: Connect the remaining wires from the 2-wire cable to the wires leading from your vehicle's fuel level sender unit. Note: Compatibility with your specific fuel level sender's resistance range is crucial and may require calibration according to the Speedhut manual.
- Ground the Gauge: Ensure a proper ground connection for the gauge using the Wiring Harness.
- Test Functionality: Once all connections are made, turn on your vehicle's ignition to verify that both the voltage and fuel level readings are displaying correctly and that the warning light functions as expected.
