HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 4.20-inch (107mm) diameter opening on your dashboard. Insert the Speedhut Quad Gauge into the opening and secure it using the included gauge mounting ring.
- Connect Power and Lighting: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the power wire to a 12V power source (ignition-switched is recommended) and the ground wire to a suitable ground point on your vehicle's chassis. Connect the lighting wire to your vehicle's lighting circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your other instruments.
- Connect Temperature Sensor: Install the included Speedhut Temperature Sensor in the appropriate location on your engine (e.g., coolant port). Connect the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable) between the sensor and the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Connect Pressure Sensor: Install the included 100 psi Pressure Sensor in the designated oil pressure port on your engine. Connect the Pressure Gauge Wiring Harness (3-Wire Cable) between the sensor and the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Connect Fuel Level Signal: Connect the Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable) to the fuel level output signal wire from your vehicle's fuel level sensor. Attach the other end to the fuel level input terminals on the back of the gauge. Note: Ensure your fuel level sensor has a resistance of 300 ohms or less.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correctly placed.
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings to confirm proper functionality of all four displays (water temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level). Calibrate the fuel level reading if necessary (refer to Speedhut's documentation for calibration procedures).
