HOW TO USE:

1. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.93" (100mm) diameter opening on your vehicle's dashboard or instrument panel. Insert the Speedhut gauge into the opening and secure it using the spin-lock ring from the back.
2. Connect Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness. Typically, the red wire will connect to a 12V power source that is switched with the ignition, the black wire to a ground, and other wires may be for optional features like backlighting control. Refer to the specific wiring diagram included with your product.
3. Connect the Tachometer Signal: Connect the 8 ft Tachometer Harness to a suitable tachometer signal output from your engine's control unit or ignition system. This is typically a single wire connection. Ensure the voltage of the tach signal is above one volt.
4. Mount the GPS Antenna: Choose a location on your vehicle's exterior (preferably with a clear view of the sky) to mount the waterproof GPS antenna. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and secure.
5. Connect the GPS Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna cable (with the male SMA connector) to the corresponding connector on the back of the Speedhut gauge.
6. Initial Power-Up: Turn on your vehicle's ignition. The gauge should power up, and the speedometer will begin acquiring a GPS signal. The tachometer will display the engine's RPM once the engine is running.
7. Operation: The speedometer will automatically display your vehicle's speed based on the GPS signal. The tachometer will display the engine's revolutions per minute based on the signal received from the engine. No calibration for speed is necessary.
