HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 4-inch diameter opening in your vehicle's dashboard. Insert the Speedhut dual gauge into the opening and secure it using the spin-lock ring from the back of the gauge.
- Connect Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness. Typically, the red wire will connect to a 12V positive power source (switched ignition is recommended), the black wire to ground, and the other wires are for optional lighting if your gauge has that feature. Refer to the specific wiring diagram included with your gauge for detailed instructions.
- Install the GPS Antenna: Choose a location on your vehicle's exterior with a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS signal reception. Mount the waterproof GPS antenna securely.
- Connect the GPS Antenna: Run the 9.8 ft cable from the GPS antenna to the back of the speedometer and connect the male SMA connector to the corresponding port on the gauge.
- Connect the Tachometer Signal: Connect the 8 ft Tachometer Harness. Typically, the single wire from this harness will connect to your engine's tachometer signal output. The location of this signal wire varies depending on your vehicle's make and model. Consult your vehicle's service manual for the correct connection point. The other wire on the harness is usually for ground.
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle. The speedometer should begin displaying your speed based on the GPS signal, and the tachometer should indicate the engine's RPM.
