HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure you have a 3.95-inch (100mm) diameter cutout on your dashboard or instrument panel where you intend to mount the gauge.
- Connect the Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable): Connect this harness to the appropriate terminals on your vehicle's voltage source and the fuel level sender unit. Refer to your vehicle's wiring diagram and the documentation for your specific fuel level sender for correct connections.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft power and lighting harness to a suitable 12V power source in your vehicle (ignition switched is recommended) and to ground. This harness will also power the gauge's LED illumination.
- Mount the Gauge: Insert the gauge into the prepared cutout from the front. Secure it using the included gauge mounting ring from the back of the panel. Tighten the ring until the gauge is firmly in place.
- Fuel Level Sender Calibration (if needed): Depending on your fuel level sender, you may need to calibrate the gauge to ensure accurate readings. Refer to the Speedhut documentation for specific calibration procedures.
- Verify Operation: Once all connections are made and the gauge is mounted, turn on your vehicle's ignition to check if the voltage and fuel level are being displayed correctly and if the warning light functions as expected.
