HOW TO USE:
- Float Placement: Position the tethered float switch at the desired high water alarm level within your sump pit, tank, or other monitored area. Use the included zip ties to secure the float cable if necessary, ensuring free movement of the float.
- Head Unit Mounting: Choose a suitable indoor location to mount the alarm head unit where the visual and audible alerts can be easily noticed. You can use the two rear mounting holes and the provided wall anchors and hardware for wall mounting, or utilize the included mounting feet for placement on a flat surface.
- Power Connection: Plug the 6-foot, 3-prong grounded power cord into a standard 120V AC power outlet.
- Testing (Optional): To test the alarm function, carefully lift the float switch to simulate a high water level. The red LED should begin flashing, and the 90db horn should sound. Lower the float to stop the alarm.
- Low Level Alarm Configuration (If Desired): To configure the unit for a low-level alarm, refer to the included instructions for reversing the wiring. This will cause the alarm to activate when the liquid level falls below the position of the float.
