- Mount the Head Unit: Choose a suitable indoor location to mount the Sump Alarm head unit where the indicator light and audible alarm can be easily seen and heard. Use the provided wall anchors and screws if mounting to a wall, or utilize the external feet for surface placement.
- Plug in the Unit: Connect the 110V plug of the Sump Alarm into a standard 110V electrical outlet. The power indicator light should illuminate, confirming the unit is receiving power.
- Test the Alarm (Optional): Carefully raise the Sludge Boss float switch to simulate a high-water level. The red LED indicator light should begin to flash, and the 90dB horn should sound. Lower the float to silence the alarm.
- Monitor: Once installed, the Sump Alarm will continuously monitor the liquid level. In the event of a high water level or suspected pump failure leading to a rise in liquid, the alarm will activate.
